Magnor Plant is Morgan Sindall Infrastructure’s in-house plant and transport business.  Our expert team helps projects design and access innovative, specialist plant, equipment, mobile site welfare, and transport to meet client, business and project needs.   

Who we are:  

Working collaboratively with the Morgan Sindall Infrastructure teams, we’re driven by understanding each project’s unique challenges and requirements. We offer bespoke plant, equipment, and transport solutions tailored to help achieve and enhance project delivery.   

We focus on delivering efficient solutions, reducing and cutting carbon, saving costs, minimising risks, enhancing safety, and protecting people.  

For our long-term strategic frameworks, we recommend and supply a broad range of more general plant and equipment, complementing our specialist product portfolio.  

We enable project delivery teams to meet our minimum standards for plant, equipment, and transport by providing clear frameworks and operational support. 

The team also works closely with our plant, equipment, site welfare, and transport supply chain family partners, identifying the latest products and technology available in the market to demonstrate, trial, and embed.   

Fleet of specialist assets to support our projects

Our owned equipment includes winches, puller tensioners, All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs), cable drum trailers, Mobile Elevated Working Platforms (MEWPs) for our on-track rail work activities, and eco-towable welfare units, alongside large plant and site mobilisation solutions.

By working with original equipment manufacturers and our supply chain, we ensure our fleet features the latest technology and fuel efficient systems, supporting safety, sustainability, productivity and performance on every project.  

Comprehensive fleet management 

Magnor Plant manages Morgan Sindall Infrastructure’s commercial fleet, which includes both company-owned and partner-approved vehicles. Our experienced team implements vehicle policies aligned with our net-zero targets and responsible business commitments.

We provide guidance on driver compliance and management, such as O-licence certification and application for our employed drivers, monitoring driver behaviour through telemetry and training drivers through specific inductions.  

Logistics hub 

Located in Swynnerton, Staffordshire, our logistics hub and workshop offer storage solutions and maintenance facilities where our expert team of fitters carry out works and repairs on our Morgan Sindall Infrastructure-owned plant and equipment.
