Delivering step-free access at Burnt Oak station through a new passenger footbridge, lift and upgraded station systems.

Project overview

The Burnt Oak Step-Free Access project has reached a major milestone, with the detailed design phase complete and the site successfully mobilised for delivery.

Working closely with London Underground, and supported by our wider project team and supply chain, we have achieved an efficient mobilisation, with processes and controls in place from day one.

The project will deliver step-free access by constructing a new passenger footbridge and a lift from the station concourse, helping to make passengers’ journeys easier, safer and more inclusive. We will also upgrade the Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health (MEP) systems, alongside communications integration systems.

There is also an important community aspect. The project will strengthen connections to local services, jobs and businesses, creating lasting value for the wider Burnt Oak community.
