Seaton Delaval

The stop after Newsham on the Northumberland Line is Seaton Delaval station.

It features a single platform located southeast of the railway line and the A192 bridge. A new access road from the A192, near The Hastings Arms, provides both vehicle and pedestrian access to the station.

Additionally, the station connects with local public open spaces and footpath networks, ensuring easy access for pedestrians and cyclists. New lighting installations along the access routes enhance safety for all users.

The station officially opened to passengers on Sunday, 15 December 2024.
