Palmersville Dairy Underpass

The installation of a new underpass at Palmersville Dairy enables pedestrians and cyclists to cross safely underneath the new rail line.

The installation took place in June 2023 over a 104-hour blockade, enabling the team to carry out work both continuously and safely during this period.

To install the underpass, the three pieces that make up the underpass were moved into position using a Self Propelled Modular Transporter, with the structure then being buried ahead of the railway line being replaced.

Palmersville Dairy Underpass was opened to the public on Wednesday 31 July 2024.
