Job description 

 

Are you an experienced electrician looking for an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills? We are currently seeking a skilled and knowledgeable electrician to join our team. As an electrician with our company, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality electrical services to our clients.   

 

 

Requirements 

 

  • Experience in installing Ladder Rack, Tray, Trunking: The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in installing ladder rack, tray, and trunking systems. Proficiency in executing these installations accurately and efficiently is essential.  
  • Experience in Glanding and terminating PVC/SWA/PVC: We are looking for an electrician who has expertise in glanding and terminating PVC, SWA, and PVC cables. The ability to perform these tasks with precision and in adherence to industry standards is crucial.  
  • Able to read electrical drawings: The successful candidate should have strong skills in interpreting and understanding electrical drawings. Proficiency in reading and comprehending electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams is necessary for this role.  
  • Experience in working in a large squad: We value teamwork and collaboration. Therefore, prior experience in working effectively as part of a large squad or team is highly desirable. The ability to communicate and coordinate efficiently with colleagues is essential.  
  • 18th edition regs, preferred: Familiarity with the 18th edition regulations is a plus. A candidate with up-to-date knowledge of the latest electrical regulations and compliance standards will be given preference.  
  • Inspection and Testing C&G Preferred: Possessing a certification in Inspection and Testing from C&G (City & Guilds) is preferred. This qualification demonstrates your expertise in conducting thorough inspections and tests to ensure electrical systems are safe and compliant. 

 

 

About ISA 

Our work focuses on delivering non-nuclear infrastructure activities in a nuclear environment both for civil and military customers.  

The ISA is an integrated team which consists of three delivery partners; Sellafield Limited, Morgan Sindall and Arup. Working in joint venture with Arup, Morgan Sindall is responsible for a £1.1 billion long term contract to provide essential infrastructure assets to the Sellafield Ltd site.
