The role:
We have a fantastic opportunity within our growing business for a talented and conscientious People Administrator to join our dynamic team on an 18-month fixed-term contract.
As a People Administrator, you will be the primary contact for HR enquiries, providing effective administrative support to the People Team and all business unit employees.
Other duties include supporting the onboarding process, preparing contracts and offer letters, providing a HR induction for new employees, maintaining accurate employee records using our HR Information System (currently Cascade with a project underway to transition to iTrent), preparing various letters for all changes to contract, overseeing the administration for absence management including assisting Payroll with sick notes and managers with return to work, advising employees and line managers on our HR policies and procedures and offering Managers support with data.
Join our People Admin team, the cornerstone of our People function. Your contributions will be essential in fostering a positive workplace culture and guiding employees through the entire People lifecycle.
It would be great if you have:
- Strong administrative background with a good attention to detail
- Good working knowledge of HR practices, including employment law
- Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word
- Experience using HR Information Systems (preferably use of Cascade and ITrent but not essential)
- Ability to manage a varied workload, organising and prioritising to meet deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail, a keen eye for consistency and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Able to work confidentially with sensitive company information
