Our structured Apprenticeship porgramme covers a variety of personal development and technical training to support your well-rounded development. Our porgramme blends practical exposure to enhance your discipline specific abilities whilst enhancing your individual personal development during your early career.
You’ll also be offered a professional scheme mentor to help you on your path to chartership with your specific professional institute. We have a great group of early careers currently in the business and plenty of experienced colleagues who get involved in supporting you at every step of the way! |
About the project |
Projects in the Nuclear sector cover a wide variety of scope from upgrading electrical distribution, bridge construction or pumping systems up to the construction of brand-new facilities that are of significant national importance. Working on these key frameworks there is a constant pipeline of projects that will challenge and develop your skills and provide the opportunity to excel and progress in your career. |
What will you
|
A project controls apprentice will start their career working closely with different experienced people from planning, cost, estimating, risk/business, and reporting management functions which are all key elements of project controls as a whole. They will have a 3-month placement in each area to ensure they gain experience, skills, and an understanding of each discipline. Through this apprentice role you will be able to apply your formal learning and observe real life applications from the knowledge you are gaining. As skills and confidence develop, they can choose a preferred area and will be given responsibility for tasks in a supportive and positive environment that will enable your career to grow along with academic studies to underpin the practical skills that are developing.

What qualifications

Five GCSE’s grades 9-4 (A*- C) including Math’s, English and a Science or Level 3 Apprenticeship. Ability to travel to remote locations Ideally some exposure to a construction/ engineering environment
