Opportunity:

We have a fantastic opportunity within our Energy and Water business for an ambitious and talented Proposals Manager.

The successful candidate will be joining the existing team of passionate and dedicated managers.

We are looking for managers who have a wealth of knowledge in the main contracting market.

Currently focussed on the Energy and Water sectors, our business is evolving to ensure that we remain a major player as the UK adapts to climate change and achieves carbon net zero.

Experience or knowledge of energy (Inc. gas) transmission, renewable/green energy infrastructure, flood defence, water and waste water works, ports and general complex civils including tunnelling from £10M upwards to major project values would be an advantage

Responsibilities:

As a proposals manager you will:

• Work well within a high performing team and be able to communicate at all levels of the business
• Demonstrate a variety of approaches to bids dependant on business and client needs
• Produce winning bids and proposals aligned with win themes and business strategies
• Be prepared to develop innovative approaches to bids to secure winning positions
• Create resource plans and bid budgets to secure appropriate internal funding
• Work well under pressure and manage both internal and client deadlines

Already experienced as a bid manager you will be educated to degree level or equivalent in the relevant field. You will have experience of managing significant bids and other submissions to win profitable work and you will have a personal success in winning quality led bids, demonstrating an innovative and creative approach.
